I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues that make up the problem of clutter and hoarding. My approach is HOLISTIC, focusing on the total person within their environment. Together we look at the problem, determine goals that focus on health, safety, and well-being which will improve their quality of life. We look at the excesses in their life, and what to do with them, but it is not the primary focus. The primary focus is the well-being of the client. Each person is unique, so each treatment plan needs to be customized for the client. People that are in a crisis or state of grief need to pace themselves in this process so they feel supported rather than overwhelmed.
